2026 Spring League

Registration for the Spring 2026 NWBA season will open on January 1, 2026 and close on February 8, 2026. No refunds after February 7, 2026.
We accept boys and girls ages 3-16. Please see section on playing age for more info.
Spring season runs March 21, 2026- June 30, 2026 (weather permitting).
In person registration
Early bird: $100 registration 1/17/26 only! In person 10am-3pm at Doss Park small activity building AND ONLINE!!!
Regular: $130 registration at Doss Park on 1/22 6-8pm; 2/5 6-8pm; 2/7 10am-2pm.
LAST DAY TO REGISTER ONLINE 2/8/26.
No refunds after 2/7/26.
The league does NOT guarantee coach placement. Teams are formed by a combination of coach's protected player lists (max 10), coaches participating in the draft, and random placement of other players as needed. NWBA does not offer refunds for those not placed with their preferred coach.
fees
There are 2 fees per season. Both must be paid before your child can play.
Registration: $130 due at sign-up
Fundraiser $320 OR buyout $160 due by March 13, 2026:
- Fundraiser (available for pickup in person at Doss while supplies last): Sell 64 boxes of candy at $5 each.
- Buyout: $160
- Players with balances not paid by due date are NOT guaranteed their uniform for the first week of games.
Fees include 12 games, jersey, socks, belt, and hat.
Required but not included are cleats (not required for 3/4), pants, socks, helmet, and bat. Bat chart can be found at the top of the page under Resources then Helpful Documents.
playing age- PLEASE READ

FALL 2025: all kids age UP! Age is calculated as how old they are on April 30, 2026. For example, if your child turns 9 on April 29, he would be in the 9/10 division, even though he is 8 for the fall season. Parents have the option of playing UP a division but never down.

Team Formation
Skills Assessment (ONLY attend if NOT reserved by a coach)
Tryouts will begin at the listed times. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance and check in at the table near the concession stand behind the small playground at Doss Park.
Ages 3-8: February 7, 2026
- 3-4 at 10:00am, tball field
- 5-6 at 11:00am, tball field
- 7-8 at 12:00pm, field 1
Ages 9-16: February 5, 2026
- 9-10 at 6:00pm, field 2
- 11-12 at 6:30pm, field 2
- 13-16 at 7:00pm, field 2
Must be registered by 2/2 in order to participate in skills assessment.
You will be contacted by a coach by 2/21.
Games will begin on 3/21.
Practices are arranged by coaches based on their personal schedules, because all of our coaches are volunteers. Coaches typically schedule practice on weekday evenings.

Game Schedule
GAME SCHEDULE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON REGISTRATION NUMBERS, WEATHER & OTHER FACTORS.
T-ball 3/4: games once or twice a week on Tues, Wed, or Thurs at 6:00pm or Sat at 10:00am. Sun possible depending on registration numbers.
T-ball 5/6: games once or twice a week on Tues, Wed, or Thurs at 7:15pm or Sat at 11:15am, 12:45pm, 2:15pm, or 3:45pm.
Coach pitch 7/8: games once or twice a week on Tues, Wed, or Thurs at 6:00pm or 7:30pm.
Kid pitch 9/10, 11/12, and 13+: games once or twice a week on Tues, Wed, or Thurs at 6:00pm or 7:45pm.

In the spring season we require each team to have a corporate sponsor.
Team managers are responsible for finding a corporate sponsor for their team.

Sponsor packages:
Silver: $375
- Includes business name on the back of your team's jerseys.
Gold: $500
- Includes business name on team jerseys and a field banner (created by NWBA).
Platinum: $1,000
- Includes all above and a field will be named after your business for the season.

Future Astros
Join Northwest Baseball Association at the Astros game on May 17, 2026!!
Each registered player will receive one free ticket to this game! Parents will be able to buy additional tickets at a discount and player tickets get free upgrades as needed.
When you register, please provide a good email address that you check regularly, as this is where your code to claim your free ticket will be sent.
Important Rules
FYI for all parents:
- We do not allow metal cleats
- All children are required to have their jersey and hat in order to play in each game. If a child does not have their jersey or hat, they are not eligible to play.

Coaches

Managers may bring up to 10 players (including their child).
Team managers are required to find a corporate sponsor for their team for the spring season.
Important Dates:
- Skills Assessment on 2/5 & 2/7 are for coaches with less than 10 protected players.
- Draft for ALL coaches:
- 2/10 for 3-4, 7-8, and 13+
- 2/12 for 5-6, 9-10, and 11-12
- Coaches Meeting: 2/24

2026 Spring League

Tryouts:
Every child who registers will be placed on a team regardless of attendance at tryouts!
Players who are protected by a coach should NOT attend tryouts.
Times listed are the START times for each division. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to check in at our table and make your way to the field.
Saturday 2/7/26:
-T-ball 3-4: 10:00am; t-ball field
-Coach pitch 7-8: 12:00pm; field 1
-T-ball 5-6: 11:00am; t-ball field
Thursday 2/5/26:
-9-10 kid pitch: 6:00pm; field 2
-11-12 kid pitch: 6:30pm; field 2

Coaches needed! Please text 832-443-1663 if you are interested in managing a team! Managers receive free registration for their child. Managers are allowed to bring 10 registrants to each team, all other registered players will be randomly assigned to teams.

Waiver:
By registering your child you agree to the following:
-I understand the size I select will be the size my child will receive, if the size is incorrect when I receive it, I understand that I will be required to pay $35.00 + $30 shipping to replace it with a new size.
-I understand that after February 7, 2026 THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. For any reason.
-I understand that the league does NOT guarantee coach placement. Teams are formed by a combination of coach's protected player lists (max 10) and random placement of other players as needed. NWBA does not offer refunds for those not placed with their preferred coach.
-I understand that once a player has been placed on a team’s roster, he/she will NOT be moved to another team.
-Yes, I consent to my child being photographed, interviewed and/or videotaped by representatives of Northwest Baseball Association (NWBA). Any information or images obtained from those activities may be reproduced by Northwest Baseball Association for use in advertising, publicity or websites print and television news. I hereby waive any claims I may have, and release NWBA and its employees from liability of claims arising out of such activities.
-Northwest Baseball Association (NWBA) has implemented numerous health and safety measures to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19. However, COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that poses numerous health risks, including death, especially to elderly people and those with underlying health risks. I understand that my, or my child’s participation and/or attendance in any NWBA sanctioned event, may increase my, or my child’s risk of contracting COVID-19 FOR MYSELF, SPOUSE, AND CHILD, I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my child’s participation.
Electronic Signature Agreement: By selecting the "I have read and accept" button, you are signing this Agreement electronically. You agree your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of your manual signature on this Agreement. By selecting "I have read and accept" you consent to be legally bound by this Agreement's terms and conditions.
